He’s Still Working on You

There is a process every Christian must go through to increase in strength and wisdom. The Lord has an “expected end” for each of us, but how do we get there? How do we get to that expected end? You have to put in the effort and do the things in which the Lord has asked you to do, today.

When you stay in the Word of God, pray, seek Him, listen to godly men preach the gospel, read books that will increase your understanding, etc. then those things will help you in your daily walk and will increase your faith and increase your knowledge. They will help you make better decisions for tomorrow. If you do all the Lord is asking you to do today and you fulfill His plan for your life today, then tomorrow you will be another day closer to having that “expected end” just like His Word says.

Some days are harder than others. Sometimes you get stumped up, make a wrong choice and fall down. You feel like you have failed God and that certainly He can’t use someone like you. But He does. That’s His deepest desire. He will always be working on you. It will never stop. You may not see the growth outwardly, but day by day you are receiving wisdom for tomorrow. You are building up rewards in Heaven when you do the will of God. If Joseph can go from prison one day to the palace the next day, then you can too. You must be ready for what He wants at a moment’s notice. Don’t be disheartened if you don’t see the progress. It’s happening even if you don’t see it. You will get there. He is developing the character you will need for where He is taking you. So if you feel like you are never going to get there, then keep holding on. He’s still working on you and what He has will be even more than what you expected. You will then see why it took so long and you will be grateful He didn’t just drop it in your lap and say, “Here you go, hope you do well, good-bye.” No, He wants you to be successful once you get to where He intended for you to be. That’s pretty amazing. Thank You Lord!

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:17-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬
