It rains on the just and the unjust. Remember in the good times and in the bad, He does not change. In life there are times of great sorrow and times of great joy.
Like Job, we have to stand firm on our foundation of faith. How could we accept good from God without also accepting adversity? Christ came to a world that rejected Him, He walked through trials we can not even fathom, and yet He prayed “not My will but Yours, Father.”
Honor Him today for His steadfast love. Our circumstances may change, some days full of joy, some full of sorrow, but His love for us will never change. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly.
Our circumstances do not define His love for us, His love for us should define our circumstances.
But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.” Job 2:10 NKJV
