Weights of Satan

In continuation of the weights the enemy places upon us, today I want to talk about “Shame”. Shame is described as a painful feeling of humiliation or distress caused by the consciousness of wrong or foolish behavior. Shame comes solely from Satan. He brings it upon you through other people or directly from himself.

Once you have asked the Lord and those you’ve hurt for forgiveness of your sins, move on with your life. Isaiah 53 reveals what Jesus bore on the cross for you and I. He did it so we wouldn’t have to. He made a way for us to be free from sin and shame, sorrow and grief.

Don’t allow the enemy to place shame on you. It’s a weight to cause you to feel like you aren’t good enough and you never will be good enough. If someone is whispering things to you that brings feelings of shame, don’t accept it! And rebuke Satan and tell him “shame doesn’t live here anymore”!
