I hear the voice of the Lord saying, “A promise is a promise. It’s yours… no one else’s. You can’t have someone else’s promise and they can’t have yours. Every promise spoken by Me will be fulfilled. Even if there is someone else that looks like they would be perfect to do that particular job, or receive that special gift, IT’S NOT THEIRS TO HAVE. They would mishandle it and cause it damage.
What I have for you is yours alone. When I have chosen you for a specific gift, blessing, promise or called to do a certain thing, I prepare you for that. Some preparation is short, but other preparation takes years to develop the strength, boldness, and character I need you to have for the end result to be successful. If character is not developed correctly, pride would rise within you and you would want the glory. I don’t share My glory with anyone. So the preparation phase is extremely important. I look for humbleness of heart, compassion and humility.
The day is coming when My promises will be fulfilled, if you faint not. Seek Me with your whole heart, have a teachable spirit and I will be able to use you for the building of My kingdom. It’s about lost souls. The fields are white unto harvest, but the laborers are few. Be obedient to the Lord your God and I will fulfill the desires of your heart.”
