... those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31, NKJV).
I want to encourage you today to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and wait on Him, even through difficult seasons. When I do this, it enables me to embrace the season (sometimes a little unwillingly!), rather than resist, despise, or try to skip over it.
Admittedly, I haven’t been perfect at this. There have been times when I temporarily chose to focus on the pain, the frustration, or the challenge of the season. As a result, instead of moving ahead in my God-given purpose, I moved toward the pain and frustration.
But trust me, it’s so much better (and quicker) to keep your eyes on Jesus regardless of the season. Focus on Him today and experience His strength for you!
