Reflecting back on my life, most of the times when I endured the most hardship was due as a result of my own actions. I choose to satisfy my own desires, or I done it “my way” instead of waiting on the Lord to move on my behalf and doing it His way. I’ve hurt many people by living life that way. I ended up bringing devastation upon my life I never saw coming. The consequences of disobedience is a higher price than what we ever thought we would have to pay. In fact, I didn’t even consider the cost of my actions. How selfish can one be?

I self-inflicted more hurt upon myself by doing it “my way”. I was my own worst enemy and still even today, if I don’t keep check on myself to line up with the Word of God, I could easily get off track. I have spoken words to myself that has held me back more than anyone else. Words matter. They can bless or they can curse. I have talked to myself in such a way that I would never allow anyone else to talk to me that way… why would I do that to myself? I realized I was allowing the enemy to remind me of past mistakes, the words he spoke was factual, but they were no longer the truth.

TRUTH always trumps facts!

I decided I was no longer going to speak anything negative over myself or others. I was no longer going to push the dagger into my heart for Jesus Christ saved me, redeemed me, He set me free, and He gave me a new name written down in Glory!

Now I choose to decree and declare the Word of God over myself, over my family, over my church and over my country. I have the ability to bless with my words and that’s what I long to do. No more curses, no more speaking death. I speak life - abundant life, because Jesus is life!

You are the God who sees. In the darkest nights and in the brightest days, you never change. Through it all, your love remains. Through every tear soaked battle, and every joy filled laugh, your love remains. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever more. Though the seasons my change, and time fadeaway, you have never changed. From her battle worn knees, to her tear soaked floors, you have been her hiding place, her shelter from every storm.

Not one pleading cry or desperate question have gone unheard by the ears of the Master. He who holds your future is always near. From the changing leaves in fall, to the beautiful smile of a stranger, He surrounds you with signs of His unending love.

In new life, or the passing of old, we see the glimmer of hope that you have displayed for us, a hope of a future one day with you forevermore. So until that day comes, Lord surround her with your love. Let her capture the glimpses of your love while she is here on this earth. Let her be that flicker of hope to someone in need. Lead her and guide her in the paths that she must go Lord.

Daughter, remain and abide in His steadfast hope, always fixing your eyes on the promises of your Father. His promises are yes and amen for you! Though the winds may blow and the waters may rage, His love for you will never change. In the dark times, as well as the bright times, put your trust in Him who can never fail. He will keep you and propel you to levels you never could have imagined on your own. Surrender all to Him, and watch as His masterpiece unfolds all around you, oh daughter of the Most High King.

Oh to be in the presence of the Lord. How I long for You to pour out Your Glory upon Your children. Father, I come before You this day worshiping You, praising You, and longing to dwell in Your presence in the hopes that You will pour out Your Glory upon us. Anything can happen in the presence of the Glory of the Lord.

In the Glory of the Lord there is healing, deliverance, and miracles. In the Glory there is no confusion. The Glory of the Lord is the essence of all that You are. In the Glory of the Lord, every need is met. When we are in the Glory, we are surrounded and protected by God‘s presence. When we are in the presence of the Lord, we go from Glory to Glory! The “Glory” is not a place, it’s an environment. God‘s presence is pure and uncontaminated.

Give us clean hands Lord. Bring the coal of fire off the altar of incense, touch our lips, and purge our sin and our iniquity. Burn out every thing that is not of You. I long to dwell in Your Glory. Pour it out upon us Lord.

“In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: and he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.” Isaiah‬ ‭6:1-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬
