What a powerful image! 🙌📖

There is nothing more powerful to cleanse the soul than the blood of Jesus and His holy Word. His word will cause demons to flee, satan to step back, and your enemies to scatter. Stay immersed in His Word and you will find cleansing from sin, peace in the storm, and in Whom your strength lies. The battle is not ours, it is the Lord’s.

There are some days when the enemy is just relentless. I become so exhausted from the storm called life that I just wish I had wings like a dove, so I could fly away from it all. I would fly to greater heights so I could get a better perspective on the situation at hand. I would then have a broader scope of what was really happening and then could make better decisions.

I don’t have wings though, so that’s when I have to completely trust the Lord. He is the only One who has perfect vision for my life. He is the One who has given me an expected end and He desires for me to get there more than I do for myself. Why is it so hard to trust the One that wants the very best for me?

Thankfully, I am learning to listen for His voice and when I obey, everything falls into place. Although sometimes that means getting outside of my comfort zone. But what I have found is there is strength and encouragement “outside of my comfort zone”. There is growth and wisdom. And guess what? When I do as He wishes, instead of having my own agenda, He takes me higher with Him. I don’t have to have wings like a dove. I’m riding on His wings of love, His wings of safety, His wings that protect me and He is the one who gives me His vision of where I am going.

Dare to get outside of your comfort zone following the leading of the only One who will never fail you. His name is Jesus and He is my very best friend.

“And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! For then would I fly away, and be at rest. Lo, then would I wander far off, And remain in the wilderness. Selah. I would hasten my escape From the windy storm and tempest.” Psalm‬ ‭55:6-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When Jesus spoke to the woman caught in the act of adultery, he did not condemn her or throw up her mistakes in her face and shake His finger at her as the religious scribes and pharisees were trying to do, but instead, he instructed her to go forward and SIN NO MORE!

Don’t get stuck on your past sin and failures, and do not mistake Jesus‘s words “sin no more” for an impossible task to be achieved. The Lord it’s simply saying repent and turn from your past ways and choose his way, which is LIFE.

He will go with you every step of the way to keep you from falling. It is possible to seek to live a holy, righteous life, in right standing with HIM! It is not an impossible task, as the enemy would try to deceive you into believing.

We may make mistakes along the way, but I rest in the knowledge of His word when He says My mercies are renewed morning by morning! Rest in His promises and take His hand, He will lead the way, you simply must make the choice to follow!💕 (John 8:1-12)
